James David Morrissey IV, popularly known as “Jimmy Morrissey” is an American football center for the Houston Texans of the National Football League, was born on June 9, 1998, and is now 24 years old. For the Pittsburgh Panthers, he played collegiate football. He plays for Houston with players like Jalen Camp, and Jalen Pitre amongst others.
Morrissey redshirted his true freshman year of football after joining the Pittsburgh squad as a walk-on. Prior to his redshirt freshman season, he received a scholarship, was given the starting center position for the Panthers, and started each of the team’s 12 games. Morrissey was nominated to the third team of the Atlantic Coast Conference after starting the first 11 games of his redshirt sophomore season before sustaining a season-ending injury (ACC).
