The non-profit documentary organization Doc Society’s CEO and co-founder, Jess Search, passed away from brain cancer at the age of 54.

Search’s demise was declared in an explanation on Tuesday, August 1 by Doc Society, which read: The previous morning, our dear Jess Search kicked the bucket calmly in London, Britain, from mind disease.

Jess Search, an influential documentary producer who also co-founded the non-profit organization Doc Society, passed away at 54 from brain cancer.

She was associated with many activities, including the overfishing narrative As far as it goes, the gorilla insurance film Virunga, and the Oscar-winning Citizenfour, about the informant Edward Snowden.

In the wake of functioning as a charging manager in the narrative division at Channel 4, Search established the Britdoc Establishment in 2005 fully backed up by her previous boss.
