Jerry Twain is the stepfather of Eilleen Regina Twain better known as Shania Twain. Shania Twain is a Canadian singer and songwriter.

She has sold over 100 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in country music history and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Her success garnered her several titles including the “Queen of Country Pop”.

Records state that Shania was born to her parent’s name Sharon Morrison her mother and Clarence Edwards her father on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Canada.

At the age of 2, Shania’s parents divorced, and her mother moved her and her sisters to Timmins, Ontario. After that move, Sharon her mother remarried Jerry Twain, who was a member of the Ojibwa people who hail from the Mattagami First Nation, which is close to Timmins.

The report state that, Shania later suffered abuse at the hands of her stepfather, Jerry Twain. From numerous sources, Jerry Twain died in a car crash alongside his wife Sharon Morrison the mother of Shania on November 1, 1987, in Wawa, Canada.
