Jerome Patrick Kelly, Alias Jerry Kelly, was born on November 23, 1966. He is a professional golfer from the United States who competes on the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions.
Kelly was an all-city ice hockey pick when playing for Madison East in high school, and he has stated that his hockey experience may have harmed his golf early in his career because of the intensity it motivates him to bring to his game.
Jerry has four brothers, but only Scott Kelly’s name is known; the names of the other three are unknown at this time. Jerry has kept his family life discreet.
Kelly graduated from the University of Hartford in 1989 and became professional the following year, although he didn’t reach the PGA Tour until 1996. This followed a great 1995 season on the Nike Tour’s second tier, in which he won two events.
His finest professional year was 2002, when he finished fourth on the PGA Tour money list and won the Sony Open in Hawaii and the Advil Western Open.
