Jeremy Allen White was born in the New York City borough of Brooklyn in either 1990 or 1991. He was raised in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood by his parents, both of whom were professional stage actors before marrying.
White caught the performing bug as a child and excelled at jazz, ballet, and tap dancing. He quit dancing at the age of 13 to pursue a career in acting.
