American football linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah takes his ancestral fashion sense to the NFL as he rocks Ghanaian kente to the 2023 opening season game for the Cleveland Browns.
Jeremiah, who was born to Ghanaian parents, didn’t forget his ancestral roots when he was called to start the new season.
He rocked kente and when his name was called, he hit the dancefloor with Adowa dance — a popular dance among the people of the Ashanti region of Ghana.
His fashion choice has been praised by his fans and many Ghanaians, including musician Stonebwoy and comedian Michael Blackson. Stonebwoy commented ‘Winner man’ on his post and Michael Blackson, on the other hand, commented ‘Let’s go Ghana, Madasucka. The fit is hot.”
Despite his sharp rise to fame, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah hasn’t forgoten his roots. His most recent trip to Ghaana was in March 2023 where he made donations and supervised a charity football game.
He has also been to his father’s hometown, Takyiman, a town in the Bono-East region of Ghana.
