Jeong Joong Ji, a famous South Korean theater actor has reportedly taken his own life on September 9, 2022.
His mother announced his unfortunate departure on Twitter saying, “This is Jeong Joong-Ji’s mother. My son Jiji took his own life. I can’t put into words how I feel right now.”

Joong-Ji who received the Hallyu Star Award for acting after appearing in Produce 101, claimed that one of the competition’s winners had been bullying him online.
He said in November 2017 that the backlash he was getting had made him feel suicidal. Those suicidal posts subsequently got his Instagram account deleted.
