Jennifer Shrader Lawrence widely known as Jennifer Lawrence was born August 15, 1990, in Indian Hills, U.S.
Lawrence knew she wanted to be an actress from a young age, and she began appearing in school plays and neighbourhood theatre in Louisville, Kentucky.
In 2005, she travelled to New York City with her mother to explore talent agencies in the hopes of breaking into acting and modelling.
She was found by a talent scout while there and auditioned for his agency.
She spent the summer of that year in New York, doing little acting parts and modelling for commercials.
Following Lawrence’s early graduation from high school, the family relocated to Los Angeles to allow her to advance her profession.
