Jason David Frank, an American actor and mixed martial artist who died on November 19, 2022, is best known for playing Tommy Oliver in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and other Power Rangers television series.
Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, was played by Frank. The portion permitted for 14 episodes. Because of his popularity, he was reintroduced as the White Ranger and the new squad leader.
Frank was scheduled to portray Adam Steele, the series’ main character, in VR Troopers before being recalled to the Power Rangers (previously known as “Cybertron”). For the program, he recorded the pilot.
Frank and Brad Hawkins claim that the original plan for Hawkins’ character on Power Rangers was to take the place of Tommy Oliver as the White Ranger. Frank was reinstated, with Tommy Oliver taking on the role of the White Ranger, thanks to Tommy Oliver’s popularity among Ranger fans.
