The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah has pleaded guilty to charges from her alleged involvement in a money-laundering scheme, according to sources.
Jennifer Shah is an American television personality. She is known as a cast member of the reality television series The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Jen Shah was born on October 4, 1973, her current age is 48 years.
The reality TV personality appeared in Manhattan federal court and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.
The second count, conspiracy to commit money laundering, has been dropped. Shah now will face up to 30 years in prison and five years of supervised release.
The reality TV star, along with her assistant, Stuart Smith, was arrested in March and In April, during her arraignment, to which Ahah pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. The long-running money laundering scam, targeted people across the United States, many over the age of 55.
Shah’s trial is set to begin on July 18. The sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 28.
