The late 29-year-old Jemma McGowan who featured on the documentary maker’s Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over series earlier this year, documenting her life living with the incurable condition and life with her husband Clive and three kids has lost her life.
Jemma was an actress and co-star who first rose to fame after she raised more than £150,000 to fund cancer treatment in Mexico having been given just six months to live in 2021.

Jemma was born and raised in Northern Ireland but due to her fight with cancer, she was receiving medication from Mexico, then medication from London every eight weeks.
