On December 9, 1954, he was born. Junker is a Luxembourgish politician who served as the country’s 21st Prime Minister from 1995 until 2013.
Juncker was born in Redange and raised in Belvaux for the most of his boyhood. Joseph, his father, was a factory worker and Christian trade unionist.
He attended the Roman Catholic secondary school at Clairefontaine, on the outskirts of Arlon, Belgium, before moving to Luxembourg to complete his Bachelor’s degree at Lycée Michel Rodange.
In 1974, he entered the Christian Social People’s Party. He enrolled in the university of Strasbourg, graduating with a master’s degree in law in 1979. He never practised law even though he completed he course.
