Jaylon Johnson is an American football cornerback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Utah. Johnson attended Central High School in Fresno, California. He played in the 2017 US Army All-American Bowl. He committed to the University of Utah to play college football. Johnson also played basketball in high school.
As a true freshman at Utah in 2017, Johnson played in 12 games and made two starts, recording 25 tackles and one interception. He became a starter his sophomore year in 2018, beginning all 14 games. He finished the season with 41 tackles, four interceptions and a touchdown. Johnson returned as a starter his junior year in 2019. Following a junior season where he had 10 pass breakups and was named to the First-team All-Pac-12, Johnson announced that he would forgo his senior season and declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Jaylon Johnson is currently in a relationship with Makayla Riddlesprigger. Makayla Riddlesprigger was born Makayla Dominique Riddlesprigger to Patrick and Catherine Riddlesprigger in Fresno, California. She was raised alongside two sisters, Mariah and Maya.
Makayla Riddlesprigger’s father Patrick played four years with the Fresno State basketball team while her sister Mariah played for Rice University from 2010-2013. Makayla went to Central High School in Fresno, California.
Makayla Riddlesprigger’s other sister, Maya plays volleyball with the Titans at Cal State. Like her sisters, she also played volleyball at Central High School in Fresno, California where she graduated in 2017. Makayla Dominique Riddlesprigger and Jaylon welcomed their beautiful baby daughter Zaveah Nicole Johnson on 12 November 2019.
Parents and siblings
His parents, John and Carmella Johnson are Fresno State graduates. Other than them, he has two brothers John Jr. and Johnny Johnson including a sister named Jaleesa. While his elder brother John Jr. is a former defensive back at UCLA from 2013 to 2016, he gave the sheer inspiration for Jaylon to be in a similar profession.
Tragically, Jaylon has seen his family members fighting through illness from a young age. His older sister Jalees grew up dealing with ulcerative colitis where he and his brother would lift her in the wheelchair up the stairs of their home.
