He was born on January 8, 1961, in Melilla, Spain but unfortunately died on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in Malaga at age 61.
He was a philanthropist who set up the Javier Imbroda Foundation to help many children.
He is the sixth coach with the most games directed in ACB and trained for seventeen seasons in the ACB league.
