The 40-year-old Jason Alexander pleaded guilty to the charges. He was sentenced to 64 days in prison, which he has already served.

He was apprehended by security after barging into the wedding of Spears and her long-term partner, Sam Asghari.

In 2004, Alexander married the pop star, a childhood friend. However, the union was called off after 55 hours.

Spears, 40, and Asghari, 28, married on June 9 in a private ceremony at her home in Ventura County, California.

However, Alexander’s arrival threw a wrench in the works. He had previously posted an Instagram Live story in which he stated his intention to “crash” the wedding.

His video showed him walking through Spears’ house looking for her before entering a marquee where a large display of roses was being finished.

He claimed that Spears invited him, saying, “She’s my first and only wife.” Alexander was apprehended and taken to a nearby jail.

Despite the disruption, celebrities such as Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Ansel Elgort, and will.i.am attended the ceremony.
