Since 2023, Jasmine Felicia Crockett has represented Texas’ 30th congressional district as a lawyer and politician in the United States. Her district encompasses Dallas Love Field Airport as well as the majority of southern Dallas County and portions of Tarrant County.
She had previously served as the Democratic Party’s representative for District 100 in the Texas House of Representatives. Among the House Democratic leadership and roughly 35 freshly elected Democrats, Crockett was the youngest Democratic representative in the 118th Congress.

Missouri’s St. Louis is where Jasmine Crockett was born. With a bachelor’s in business administration, she left Rhodes College in 2003. Before opting to enter law school, Jasmine Crockett, a college student, had aspirations of becoming a certified public accountant or an anesthesiologist; but, after alleging to have been the victim of a few hate crimes, she changed her mind. She enrolled at the University of Houston Law Center after that, where she graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2009.
