Robert Gortat is a Polish fighter and boxing referee who was born in Warsaw on December 11, 1972. He made his professional boxing debut on October 10, 2004, winning four rounds by unanimous decision over Ukrainian Dmitry Sharipov. In his second bout, on March 12, 2005, he won via technical knockout in the opening frame against Stefan Stanko, a Slovak fighter.
On June 17, 2011, Robert Gortat made his debut as a score and ring judge at a gala in Ruda Śląska. Adrian Bleszynski vs. Dariusz Balla was the first match that the former boxer managed.
