James Edward Bye (born February 23, 1984) is a British actor who has played Martin Fowler in EastEnders since 2014.

Bye married Victoria Bye, with whom he had three boys.
Bye went to Baughurst’s Hurst Community College, a secondary school. He later attended Queen Mary’s College in Basingstoke.
In 2006, Bye made his acting debut as Tom Burrows in The Bill. Later, in 2010, he was billed as “Tough Guy in Club” in Cemetery Junction. Bye did not return as a credited part in Hummingbird until 2013 as “Football Supporter 2.” Later that year, he played John Daley in The Great Train Robbery. The next year, he played Pete the Killer in The Hooligan Factory.
