Jalen Curtis Tolbert, a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, was born in Mobile, Alabama on February 27, 1999.
He played football, basketball, and baseball at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. He didn’t start until his senior year, and by the time the season was up, he had hauled in 37 passes for 696 yards and nine touchdowns.
Tolbert was a two-star recruit who had previously chosen to attend the University of South Alabama over his original commitment to play college football at Jacksonville State. He played college football at South Alabama and was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2021.
