Jake Flint was a Red Dirt singer and songwriter who resides in rural Claremore, Oklahoma. He was born in 1985 and raised in the oilfield boom town of Holdenville in South Eastern Oklahoma. Jake’s first introduction to playing music was a result of his father having been diagnosed with Lou Gherig’s Disease and was not able to physically provide interaction with his son.
According to reports, Jake Flint died in his sleep just hours after his wedding on Saturday, November 26. At the time of his death, he was 37.
His publicist who goes by the name Clif Doyal broke the news of his death, however, he did not reveal an exact cause of death.

As of now, the is no statement that reveals the day he would be buried. The grieving family is yet to provide the public with such information as when and where the burial and funeral will take place.
Jake’s widow, Brenda Wilson, took to her Facebook account on November 28 and wrote; “We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in. People aren’t meant to feel this much pain,” she continued. “My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back. I can’t take much more. I need him here.”
According to reports while Jake and Brenda were exchanging vows, it has been raining.
