Jacques Delors was the son of Louis Delors and Jeanne Rigal. He was born in Paris in a family originating from Corrèze, Delors first held in the 1940s through the 1960s a series of posts in French banking and state planning with the Bank of France.

Louis Delors who was the father of Jacques Delors was born in 1895. He lived for 69 years and died in 1964. He was the son to Marie Dizier and Jean Delors. He married the love of his heart Jeanne Rigal and they were blessed with a son named Jacques Delors. He is the grandfather of Martine Aubry and Jean-Paul Delors.
Jeanne Rigal does not have much to talk about, apart from being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother to her son’s children.
However, Jacques Delors was married to Marie Lephaille until she died in 2020. They had a daughter, Martine Aubry, who served as First Secretary of the Socialist Party from 2008 to 2012, and a son, Jean-Paul Delors, who was a journalist and died aged 29 in 1982 from leukemia.
Jacques Delors died in his sleep at his home in Paris, on December 27, 2023, aged 98.
