Jacqueline R. Walorski – an American politician and U.S. representative for Indiana’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 until her death in 2022 and a member of the Republican Party is no more. She passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in a car accident that also killed two of Walorski’s staffers, according to House Republican leaders who announced in the late hours of Wednesday.

The late Walorski was a married woman who was married for more than two decades to her husband, Dean Swihart. She resided in Jimtown, an unincorporated suburban community west of Elkhart.
According to the reports, she was killed near Nappanee, Indiana, when a vehicle traveling northbound on State Road 19 veered left and collided head-on with Walorski’s vehicle, which had been traveling southbound.
There was three personnel in Walorski’s vehicle – her communications director, Emma Thomson, her district director, Zachery Potts, and herself couldn’t survive the car accident.
