Jackman Thomas Harlow is a rapper from Louisville, Kentucky who was born on March 13, 1998.

He began his career in 2015 and put out a number of EPs and mixtapes before signing with Don Cannon and DJ Drama’s record label Generation Now, an imprint of Atlantic Records, in 2018.

The 2020 single “Whats Poppin” marked Harlow’s first significant commercial success. With the help of TikTok and a remix including the rappers DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, it rose to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy Award nomination.

Prior to the release of his first studio album, Thats What They All Say (2020), which was given a platinum certification in the US, Harlow was listed among the “2020 Freshman Class” of XXL magazine.

Harlow and Lil Nas X collaborated on the song “Industry Baby,” which was released in 2021 and became her first number-one single. In 2022, Harlow released his second album Come Home the Kids Miss You, and its lead single, “First Class,” became one of his biggest hits.

He was named Variety’s “Hitmaker of the Year” that year, and he was also selected to Forbes’ list of the 30 Under 30. It was revealed that Harlow will make his acting debut in 2022 in a remake of the 1992 movie White Men Can’t Jump, which will be helmed by Calmatic.
