Jackman On March 13, 1998, Thomas Harlow, a rapper from Louisville, Kentucky, was born. Before signing with the Don Cannon and DJ Drama-run Atlantic Records subsidiary Generation Now, he started his career in 2015 and released a series of EPs and mixtapes.

Harlow achieved his first substantial success in 2020 with the release of his song “What’s Poppin.” Due to its popularity on TikTok, it was able to climb to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and receive Grammy Award consideration for a remix that featured the rappers DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne.

The Handsome Harlow’s debut record on a commercially viable label was an EP. It was released by Gill Holland’s sonaBLAST! record label. Throughout his senior year, he routinely gave sold-out performances at Louisville venues like Mercury Ballroom, Headliners, and the Haymarket Whiskey Bar. In March 2016, he opened for Vince Staples in Louisville.

Harlow was raised on a horse farm near Shelbyville and is the son of businesswoman Maggie (née Payette) and Brian Harlow. His younger sibling is Clayborn Harlow. He is of Irish and French ancestry.
