Ivo Grbi, a goalkeeper for La Liga team Atlético Madrid and the Croatian national team, was born in Croatia on January 18, 1996.
At the age of 16, he became the first goalkeeper to play in the Treća HNL Jug league. He made his senior debut in April 2015 against Rijeka, conceding two goals in the last 10 minutes of the game.
On July 28, 2018, Lokomotiva Grbi made his club debut in a 4-0 victory over Inter Zaprei. He was essential to their second-place finish in the Prva HNL and Cup and subsequent qualification for the Champions League during the 2019–20 season.
In August 2020, Eljko Grbi agreed to a four-year deal with Atlético Madrid. In order to get more playing time, he was given a season-long loan to French champions Lille. Two days later, in a 1-1 draw with Saint-Étienne, he made his Ligue 1 debut.
He made his senior debut for Croatia in a 7-1 victory over Malta in the 2022 World Cup qualifying on 11 November 2021.
