Gospel Artiste, Great Ampong has said although he had intentions to sue Daddy Lumba for cheating him he had to drop it because his mother has asked him to let go.
It was widely reported that Daddy Lumba after the launch of the “Hossana” album he did with Ampong bolted way with all the proceeds they both made out of the launch of the event.
Ampong had in the past said he will not take it lightly should he meet the highlife legend, Daddy Lumba at any event venue.
But speaking to Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio’s Kofi Asante, he indicated that he has left the issue to rest after his mother ordered him to.
He indicated that but for his mother’s orders, he would have taken Lumba on and to any extent to retrieve his money from the highlife artiste.
Ampong expressed surprise at the news that Daddy Lumba had sued his lookalike for impersonating him. He indicated that Daddy Lumba does not get shows in the country neither does his look alike so what warranted the suit.
He said that Lumba has only sued the young man just to prove his level of wickedness.
