Award-winning Nigerian actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, has come out to vehemently deny rumors of an alleged affair with Nigerian Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The rumors, which were spread by a popular Nigerian blogger, Gistlover, claimed that the actress was involved in a romantic relationship with the politician.
In response to these allegations, Dakore described the rumors as a “wicked lie from the pit of hell” and warned against using her hard-earned reputation for clickbait. She expressed her shock and disappointment at the rumors circulating on social media, emphasizing that she has never met the Senate President.
“I want to categorically state that I have never ever in my life met the Senate President. I have not had any cause to see him or be in the same room, not to talk of being his side chick,” the actress said in a video on her Instagram page.
Dakore-Egbuson further revealed her intention to take legal action against those spreading the false rumors, stating that she will not stay silent about it. She reminded her fans and accusers of her status as a happily married wife and mother of two, emphasizing that the speculations are intended to tarnish her hard-earned reputation.
Challenging anyone with evidence of her alleged affair with the politician, Dakore announced a reward of 5 million naira for such proof. The actress remains resolute in defending her integrity and reputation against baseless accusations.
