Popular social media commentator and influencer, Kelly Nii Lartey Mensa, has thrown his weight behind Dancehall musician Shatta Wale for listing Tic Tac, Ex Doe among other veteran acts as artistes who did make good use of fame.

During an interview with Delay last week, Shatta Wale listed Tic Tac, Ex Doe, Kokovelli and KK Fosu in his list of veteran musicians who weren’t business minded in their heydays.

This caused a stir on and off social media including smashing response from Tic Tac and Ex Doe.

But to Kelly Nii Lartey Mensa, Shatta Wale was right with such comment — at least from what he witnessed at the just ended “SM Sanlah Remix” concert which took place at Nima, Accra.

Kelly accompanied a photo of Shatta Wale’s performance with the caption, “When W A L E told Ex Doe and Tic Tac that they’ve failed the industry, it was no disrespect. Just that he can record their 5 albums in 3days! ‪#‎Yafisu‬  200 Songs on one stage pres dis 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 ‪#‎SMF‬ ‪#‎SM‬”.

Even despite several rebuttals from his followers on Facebook, Kelly insisted and defended his statement.

One of his followers Kwesi Arko challenged his statement saying;

But Kelly got answers;
