The president of Parliament, Maria Jose Gonzalez Revuelta, has expressed her condolences for the death of Aja, ” a man who belongs to the generation that carried out, from various political forces, the transition of Cantabria from the province to the autonomous community,” and that “he participated in these beginnings with transcendent missions, such as the parliamentary presidency, work as a regional deputy or his presence in the Senate by the election of our Parliament.”
