Temetrius Jamel “Ja” Morant is an American professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association.
He played college basketball for the Murray State Racers, where he was a consensus first-team All-American as a sophomore in 2019.
Is Usher related to Ja Morant?
The eight-time Grammy winner sat courtside at the NBA game, wearing a black t-shirt and aviator sunglasses. Sitting next to him was a man wearing an identical outfit who looked like his twin. The man is Grizzlies star Ja Morant’s father Tee, and the pair’s resemblance is uncanny.
It’s really hard to believe, but the pair aren’t related in any way, they just look similar. It all started earlier this month when fans noticed Tee Morant sitting at Grizzlies games supporting his son and thought it was Usher.
Many were confused about why the rapper was suddenly supporting another team, as he part-owns the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, the star hadn’t suddenly changed his NBA alliance as fans initially thought, it was Ja Morant’s dad.
