American author, activist, and broadcaster Timothy Ballard is renowned for his charitable work. Tim studied at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree while majoring in Spanish and political science. Tim later graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in international politics from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
Ballard created the sex trafficking eradication group Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.). He and M. Russell Ballard have the same last name, but their ancestries are different.
