Recent news about Tiger Woods rejecting a massive deal to join the league has arisen amid all the controversy surrounding the Saudi-inspired Tour.

One of the most well-known athletes in contemporary history, Woods is recognized as one of the all-time greats of golf.

Is Tiger Woods joining LIV Golf series?

Per Greg Norman’s claims, Tiger Woods was offered between $700 million dollars and $800 million dollars to play in the Saudi-funded LIV Golf series, but he declined the offer.

Norman corroborated what he told the Washington Post in a piece two months ago during an appearance with Tucker Carlson on Fox News that aired Monday night.

The offer according to him was a juicy and mind-blowing one;( we’re talking about high nine digits,) Norman told the media in June.

Since late last year, the 46-year-old American pro golfer has been against LIV Golf. He made his sharpest remarks at the British Open when he claimed that players who accepted the money provided by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund had turned their backs on the PGA Tour that had made them famous.

Because of the series’ human rights record and connections to the September 11 terrorist attacks, the series’ funding source has drawn harsh criticism from both fans and the players who have joined.
