Ghanaian politician, farmer, and actor John Dumelo was born on February 3rd, 1984. On April 1, 2014, he got one million Facebook likes, making him the first Ghanaian to do it. His parents are Mr. John Dumelo, a former civil engineer, and Mrs. Antoinette Dumelo, a customs official.
Dumelo was born in Ghana and attended Christ the King School in Accra for his elementary education.
He was the Fliers Guy in Mo-TOWN prize winner and a member of the drama club at Achimota School. And pursued a civil engineering degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He succeeded at KNUST and ran for “Mr. University.” He then signed up for GIMPA’s School of Public Service and Governance.
He began acting in the early 1990s in the 1991 film Baby Thief while he was a student at Christ the King School and received payment of 20,000 old Ghana Cedis (equivalent to today’s 2 Ghana Cedis) at the age of 7.
On December 16th, he made a comment under the former EC boss, Charlotte Osei, a post that has got fans talking. The actor comments: “Pls is that a susu box? Lol”
The UN International Elections Commissioner is Charlotte Kesson-Smith Osei, a Ghanaian attorney who served as the Electoral Commission of Ghana’s chairman from 2015 until her termination in June 2018.
She was born on February 1st, 1969. The Supreme Court of Ghana has received two different writs, each of which contests the decision to terminate her employment.
She was the first woman to hold a position in the Ghanaian Electoral Commission since Ghana’s independence.
