Paul Anthony Sorvino was born on April 13, 1939. He was an American actor, opera singer, businessman, writer, and sculptor. He often portrayed authority figures on both sides of the law and was known for his roles as Paulie Cicero in the 1990 gangster film Goodfellas, a true life story, and NYPD Sergeant Phil Cerreta on the second season of the TV series Law & Order.

Paul got married to Lorraine Davis in the year 1966, and together, they brought forth 3 children – Mira Sorvino, Amanda Sorvino, and Michael Sorvino, unfortunately, they got divorced in 1988.

It was reported that Paul got married again to Vanessa Arico in 1991 but the two separated in 1996. Later in 2014, he again got married to Dee Dee Benkie. Paul and Dee Dee were together until his death on July 25, 2022.
