Is Michael Keaton the best Batman ever?

American actor Michael Keaton (born Michael John Douglas) is quirky, creative, and handsome.

In the film Night Shift, he plays a fast-talking ideas man named Bill Blazejowski opposite a nerdy morgue attendant played by Henry Winkler (1982). Since then, he has effortlessly transitioned between film genres, ranging from drama and romantic comedy to thriller and action. He played additional comedic roles in Mr. Mom (1983), Johnny Dangerously (1984), and Beetlejuice (1988), and gained additional praise for his dramatic portrayal of Bruce Wayne / Batman in Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992).

Keaton was born Michael John Douglas on September 5, 1951 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. Along with English, Scottish, and German ancestry, he also has Irish ancestry. Prior to leaving Kent State and coming to Pittsburgh, Michael studied speech there for two years. Keaton discovered his desire to be in front of the cameras while working as a TV cinematographer for a cable station after an unsuccessful try at stand-up comedy. Several episodes of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood marked Keaton’s first television appearances.

Is Michael Keaton the best Batman ever?

A few excellent Batman performers have been in the DCEU over the years, for sure. But from Kilmer to Affleck, they’re all shams who aren’t up to shining Keaton’s batarangs.

As a result of his portrayal of Bruce Wayne, Michael Keaton is still the best Batman. The somewhat divisive selection is now hailed as one of the caped crusader’s finest depictions.
