Actress Melissa Ivy Rauch was born in the US on June 23, 1980. She is well-known for playing Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, for which she received a 2013 Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. David and Susan Rauch raised Rauch in Marlboro Township, New Jersey, where he was born. Ben is the name of her younger brother. As a student at Marlboro High School, she became interested in acting.
Rauch frequently contributed to the VH1 program Best Week Ever between 2004 and 2008. Moreover, Rauch has roles in the American remake of Kath & Kim’s Tina as well as the HBO fantasy horror series True Blood’s Summer.
