Karine Jane-Pierre is a French-American. She was born in Forte-de-France, Martinique, France but was raised in Queens Village, New York, United States.

Karine attended the New York Institute of Technology (BS) and Columbia University (MPA).

At  Columbia University, she served as a student government. It was from there that she decided to go into politics.

Karine became a political campaign organizer, political commentator, activist, and author of ‘Haitian Heritage’.

In 2021, she became the White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary. Then in 2022, she was named by Joe Biden as the next White House Press Secretary.
