Pauline Joyce Meyer is a Christian author, speaker, and president of Joyce Meyer Ministries in the United States. She was born on June 4, 1943. Joyce and Dave have four grown children and reside outside of St. Louis, Missouri. The headquarters of her ministry is close to Fenton, Missouri, a St. Louis suburb. Her father joined the military to fight in World War II shortly after she was born. In interviews, she said that when he got back, he started sexually abusing her, and she talked about this in her meetings. She still uses an accent typical of St. Louis’ working class.
