Jason Kokrak and Charles Howell III, two seasoned PGA Tour competitors, have joined LIV Golf, the new circuit announced on Wednesday.

Kokrak, who is now ranked 36th in the Official World Golf Ranking, has won three PGA Tour events, most recently the Houston Open in November.
He had been a global ambassador for Golf Saudi since 2021, and its emblem was on his golf bag, so his departure had been anticipated for months.
From July 29 to July 31, Kokrak and Howell will compete in their first LIV Golf Invitational Series tournament at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey.
Henrik Stenson of Sweden also said earlier on Wednesday that he would be joining LIV Golf.
The second LIV Golf competition gets underway on July 29 in Bedminster, New Jersey’s Trump National Golf Club.
Howell, Stenson, and Kokrak will have their PGA Tour memberships suspended at the start of the competition.
