Draymond Jamal Green Sr. is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Golden State Warriors.

Green grew raised in Saginaw, Michigan, and attended Michigan State University, where he lead the Spartans to two Final Four visits and a Big Ten Tournament championship in 2012. Green received conference and national awards throughout his four-year college career, including Big Ten Conference Sixth Man of the Year as a sophomore and consensus All-American and NABC National Player of the Year honors as a senior.

Draymond Green, a former Michigan State basketball star, is a Hall of Famer.

Green, who predominantly plays power forward, is a four-time NBA champion, a four-time NBA All-Star, a two-time All-NBA Team member, a seven-time All-Defensive Team member, and a two-time Olympic gold medalist.

He was named NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and led the league in steals.

The Golden State Warriors selected him 35th overall in the 2012 NBA draft, and he went on to play a major role on the Warriors’ championship teams in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022.
