Due to his performances, Russell Henley has been receiving media attention.
Although he did finish in the top five a few times this year, he failed to make the cut at the Open Championship in July.
People have started to question if the 32-year-old is related to American musician, singer, and songwriter Don Henley because of his last name, “Henley.”
Is Don Henley related to Russell Henley?
Although they both have the last name “Henley” and are Americans, the two famous people in issue are not related.
The two might not have even crossed paths during their careers, given their respective professions.
But Russell is renowned for his guitar skills.
Henley began learning how to play the guitar when he was eight years old, according to a previous interview with the PGA Tour.
He is self-taught. He’s always been a fan of music, and his best friend used to play in a band that played largely country and 90s music.
Russell admitted that he played a lot of guitar and traveled a lot in his early to mid-twenties, only adding that he is a lousy singer.
