Dianne Feinstein is an American politician who has been the senior senator from California since 1992. From 1978 until 1988, she served as the Democratic Party’s mayor of San Francisco.

Feinstein was a driving force behind the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, which was adopted in 1994 and expired in 2004.

She introduced a new assault weapons measure in 2013, which failed to pass. Feinstein is the first female chair of the Senate Rules Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee, as well as the first female president of the United States.

She was the leading member of the Senate Judiciary Committee from 2017 to 2021, and she chaired the International Narcotics Control Caucus from 2009 to 2015.

Colleagues believe Dianne Feinstein is no longer psychologically able to serve, citing recent exchanges, have spoken out, placing her back in the spotlight.

Senator Dianne Feinstein fought back after claims surfaced that she was mentally unfit to serve.

Since that accusation, she has been proving her point to numerous tabloids.

Is Dianne Feinstein in a sorority?

We believe there are more sorority women who are or have been state senators. She is part of the list of women who have served in Washington, D.C. rather than their respective state capitals.

At the age of 88, Feinstein is the oldest sitting U.S. senator. In March 2021, Feinstein will surpass Hiram Johnson as California’s longest-serving senator.
