The 57-year-old passed away at her home on Sunday after a brief illness.
Deborah was born in 1966 and reared by her mother Catherine Tshabalala-Fraser in Kwamashu, Kwazulu-Natal.
She began her career in music as a background vocalist in 1985.
However, her award-winning album ‘Abanye Bayombona’ smashed records in the year 2000.
She commented about how hopeful she was about her recovery after attending an event in a wheelchair owing to health issues.

The Frazer family has requested time to mourn the loss of their loved one.
