Antonio Brown is still a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player as of Monday night despite coach Bruce Arians telling reporters after the wide receiver’s exchange with the coach.
Arians was asked earlier Monday during his media availability about the logistics of cutting Brown.
He said that Brown “was no longer” part of the team.
Is Antonio Brown still with Bucs?
The details surrounding the incident have yet to come out but it’s known that Brown is still the Buc and he is on their official roster.
Reports indicated that Brown was concerned about his ankle and didn’t want to play. Arians said Brown never told him he was injured and added that the two had a “conversation” and that the player left the field.
Brown caught 42 passes for 545 yards and four touchdowns this season.
The seven-time Pro Bowler helped Brady and the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl last season.
