Anthony David Weiner is a former American politician who represented New York’s 9th congressional district from 1999 until his resignation in 2011.
He was a Democrat who consistently won the district with at least 60% of the vote. Weiner resigned from Congress in June 2011 after it was discovered that he had emailed sexually provocative images of himself to various women.
Wiener ran for mayor of New York City twice and finished second in the Democratic primary in 2005. In 2013, he ran again, finishing fifth in the Democratic primary.

The disgraced former New York rep has not openly revealed his current dating life to the public. However, on Saturday night, he was seen out in public with his estranged wife Huma Abedin, more than a year after claiming their divorce was “all but finalized.”
The two were spotted sitting next to one other at a table at the Ziegfeld Theatre in Midtown Manhattan during the annual Inner Circle charity play, which draws together the city’s media and political worlds for a night of Broadway-style funny sketches.
Weiner wore a coat and tie to the banquet, and Abedin wore a white gown as they were pictured enjoying supper.
