After reports of her breakup with Ahlamalik Williams, her partner of three years, Madonna has spoken out.

After learning on Tuesday that she had broken up with the backup dancer, 28, whom she had initially met in 2015 but hadn’t started seeing until years later, the 63-year-old shared a very revealing post on her Instagram Stories.

Madonna is not new to dating younger men. Before Ahlamalik, she was in a relationship with then-26-year-old personal trainer Timor Steffens in 2014.

She also dated French dancer Brahim Zaibat for three years before they parted ways at the end of 2013, and before that, she dated Brazilian model and DJ Jesus Luz, whom she met on a photoshoot.

Why did Madonna and Ahlamalik Williams split?

Madonna and her boyfriend, Ahlamalik Williams, have broken up after three years of dating, The UK Sun reported Tuesday.

“Madonna has thrown herself into a busy social life and has been seeing her friends and family after the split,” a source told the outlet.

“She has a packed schedule, working on her upcoming biopic, new music, and looking after her family.”

The now-former couple split amicably, according to the insider, but had been “on and off” for a while.

“They are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings, but they are at different places with their lives,” the source added, noting that Williams moved out of Madonna’s house.

“With them both working on other things, it was hard to keep their romance alight.”
