India de Beaufort (born 27 June 1987) is a British singer and actress.
De Beaufort has British and Indian ancestors. Beaufort’s maternal grandfather was born in Calcutta, where his family had resided for approximately 350 years.
Beaufort’s surname, de Beaufort, is said to be derived from distant French ancestors. In Surrey, England, she attended Esher College.

In 2002, at the age of 15, de Beaufort signed with Entertainment Rights as a singer-songwriter and actress. That same year, she was cast as India Beau in the BAFTA-nominated The Basil Brush Show.
De Beaufort went on to appear in three seasons of the show and was also a featured artist on the Christmas single “Boom Boom, It’s Basil Brush.” The song remained at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks. During her time on the CBBC sitcom, de Beaufort performed at Proms in the Park and went on a nationwide tour.
