Violent shooting incident in the Auckland neighborhood of Mt Roskill has left at least two people wounded.
A law enforcement source said officers were dispatched to an address on Glass Rd in Mt Roskill at 9.30 p.m. on Thursday after many persons were injured in an incident.
Per a St John representative, 2 persons were rushed to Auckland City Hospital as a result of the incident.
One victim had horrific injuries, while the other incurred serious injuries. A third individual had bumps and bruises and did not require treatment.
According to the female police officer, there would be a considerable police presence in the area while the investigation took place.
No arrests have been made as of yet.
Previously, it was reported that a pistol was used in the incident, but police said it is very confusing now.
