Actress and TV personality Vicky Zugah is wary of falling in love again due to her history of unhealthy relationships. The secrets that people have revealed to her since she began hosting Red Light Show, a relationship program on UTV, have made her fears worse.
Some of the information that people have shared with her, including those from her famous friends, has scared the living daylights out of her.
The actress claimed in a conversation with Graphic Showbiz that the secrets she had been told turned her off to the point where she did not want to date anyone else.
“I have been hosting this program for over three years and the things that people, including my celebrity friends, tell me to terrify me to no end. Despite their desire to stay anonymous, I know them, and I am shocked by the kinds of things they have to deal with. “I find it unbelievable that someone would choose to remain in an abusive marriage merely to protect their children from their partners or to keep their marriage intact,” the woman remarked.
Speaking about the three years that she has been running her Red Light Show, Vicky mentioned that she had received many encouraging testimonies that motivated her to continue.
“I am more motivated to tackle more delicate subjects by the encouraging comments we receive on the show. The show is saving a lot of marriages and relationships. We intend to run it twice a week because of the hike in patronage. We will soon be going twice a week, but for now, it only shows on Fridays,” she disclosed.
Although she had no intention of becoming an actress, friends, and close associates would constantly encourage her to pursue a career in film, saying things like “You have the face,” “You are star material,” and “You should try acting as a profession.”
Vicky Zugah felt that luck found her when her first film, Trokosi, turned into her breakthrough performance.
