Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu’s wife, Irene Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has talked about how she responds to news concerning her husband.
She said that occasionally when her spouse is insulted, she gets wounded, but she also said that she has toughened up to handle it all.
She said, “It is not easy to wake up in the morning and see your husband’s name in the news, with people saying all sorts of things,” during an interview on Nhyira FM on February 12. Because I am human and he is special to my children.
Even though I appear calm on the outside, I can get upset when Ghanaians make fun of my spouse, but I have thick skin to handle it.
She remarked that patience and respect are essential to her successful marriage to a politician when asked how she handles their union.
She underlined how crucial it is to realize that marrying a public figure entails sharing them with the country.
The Suame constituency’s Member of Parliament (MP), Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has played a significant role in parliamentary leadership throughout the years, holding positions as Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Minority Leader, and Majority Leader.
